I've been awake 12 hours 3 minutes but in that time I have slept for an extra 96 minutes. I only get a cold late at night, in the morning I am healthy.

After a very long time she has finally put her face under a train and the book is all but over. Not only has this book taken all of my recent time but I've been reading it for such a long time that I'm going to miss reading it. It's so incredibly written each character with their own sense of logic is so right. A point where Levin is hunting and we are given a chapter from the perspective of Laska, his dog, is so wonderfully observed a narrative. It has also managed to get me to write more of this damn film script I've been trying to write for a good deal of time for my film course. I can't help but think, if I was a bit more Russian I would probably travel on trains more often.

Today I have also watched LifeSpam, a sketch show on BBC iPlayer, which apart from being filmed all about my area includes Steve Brody, a man most watchers of notable recent comedy will probably have seen at some point in a Ricky Gervais or Steve Coogan related program playing some small part and never realising who he is. LifeSpam is hopefully not another BBC sketch show that only sees the light of day two or three times before we see no more. I miss Cowards.

SLACK

I am slack at keeping this updated with photographs and things that I will one day look back on and feel disappointed with, this will change soon, probably.

The first thing I am saving up for.

They've got Eras and Slip Ons too but the Chukkas are putting everything else on hiatus for me. The aim is to last without new trainers until I own these.

Pigeon Lights are amazing. Spotted them in a furniture shop but the colours weren't what I wanted so I'm waiting on a Grey with Orange Flex for my hallway.

Tony Hart 1925-2009

The man invented Morph. This man is childhood art. It is scary how all the men who brought art to me are dying.

Tony Hart had one of those attitudes that children's television no longer has, see Oliver Postgate too for this. What now seems popular isn't men talking to the children as if they're going to get interesting conversation, it is men and women trying to sound like all they really want to do is shit on the child or punch them in the eye. These people aren't charismatic any more.

Perhaps It's just me, it was all so brilliant and now it's all turned to shit. I remember watching smart only for Morph. I could leave Kirsten and Josie, Mark Speight less so (the man was brilliant) and watch some Morph. I miss Mark also.

Death

I live alone and never check my voicemail, so I naturally have begun to fear my death. if I died and hadn't charged up my phone nobody would know, and I'd have a fuckload of voicemails that when I was eventually rescued, presumably by a burglar, somebody would have to deal with. To counter this I currently don't have a curtain on my ground floor bedroom window and if I prepare a note apologising/explaining the circumstances of my death (keeping it vague) to have on my bedside table it's puts my mind at ease.
